Royal Saly Hotel, Saly Portudal

Staying at this hotel was a delightful experience. The rooms were well air-conditioned and clean, surrounded by lush gardens and conveniently located near the pool and beach. The service was attentive and friendly, with staff going the extra mile to ensure a pleasant stay. The location felt like an oasis of tranquility, perfect for relaxation, though the dining experience left room for improvement with limited variety. Despite that, the facilities were well-maintained, making it a great value for a memorable vacation.

The hotel is a peaceful oasis with beautiful gardens, a poolside restaurant, and a beach just a few steps away. The rooms are of good standard, fresh, and clean, but unfortunately, they were full of mosquitoes, making it hard to get a good night's sleep despite using repellent. The service is generally helpful and respectful, apart from a hiccup with the chef's dinner line. The location feels like a serene island in Senegal, well-maintained and lush, although a bit distant from the reception desk. The dining experience is varied, with some standout dishes but occasional wait times at the buffet. The facilities are adequate and add to the overall experience.
